This room was a labor of love for Pete.
1) Remove Popcorn Ceiling
2) Rip up carpet
3) Get rid of the panelling
4) Sand down the glue from panelling
5) Paint (twice) I changed my mind on the paint color
6) Patch ceiling
7) Texture Ceiling
8) Paint Ceiling
9) Crown molding
10) Chair Rail
11) Re-Finish floors
12) New Windows
13) New can lighting
14) New light fixture
We still need to do some touch-ups and need to get more furniture for the room, but It looks ..grrrEEAAATT! Way to go PETE :-)

Really GREAT work! I saw your blog on Deb's and I love seeing you and little Phillip. CRAZY that he is TWO! I bearly saw him as an infant! Fun times going visiting teaching when you were 9 months pregnant! SO CUTE!
Thanks for all of the great feedback. I'll have to pass it on to Pete because I didn't do a thing. :-) It's great being pregnant during a re-model b/c I have a good excuse for not helping! (BTW, I'm 5 months pregnant w/ a little girl, due Valentines day) :-) Yay!

We just got your christmas card today. Thanks for thinking of us! I was so excited to find out that you guys have a blog. Sounds like you have been very busy with work and the house remodel. It looks awesome! We just finished our basement. House projects (esp with a little one) are a lot of work, but WOW, the hard work sure pays off! Congrats on being pregnant!
